Simple, elegant and comforting, vanilla egg cream is the perfect way to end a meal on a sweet, fragrant note.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t Preparing the vanilla<\/b> :<\/strong><\/p>\n Split the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with the tip of a knife.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \t Heat the milk: <\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Pour the milk into a saucepan with the vanilla pods and seeds.\nHeat over low heat until simmering, then remove from the heat and leave to infuse for 10 minutes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t Mix eggs and sugar: <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar and a pinch of salt until smooth (but not too frothy).<\/p>\n \t Stir in milk<\/b><\/p>\n Remove the pod from the milk and pour the hot milk gradually over the eggs, mixing gently.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t Bake for 35 to 40 minutes<\/strong> at 180\u00b0C, until a knife inserted in the center comes out dry.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t Preheat oven<\/strong> <\/span>to 180\u00b0C (fan assisted).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Pour the mixture into ramekins.<\/p>\n\n \t Place in a dish filled with hot water (bain-marie).
