Originally from Central America, this tropical orchid species has acclimatized perfectly to the Malagasy terroir, where it develops a unique aromatic signature.

Unlike the famous Bourbon vanilla pod from Vanilla planifolia, Madagascar Pompona vanilla pods are thick, fat and fleshy.

Its cultivation remains confidential due to its low productivity and delicate ripening, which makes it an exceptional vanilla, produced in limited quantities.

An intense and atypical aromatic profile

Madagascar Pompona vanilla offers a richly aromatic palette, far more complex than classic vanillas. Its dominant notes evoke :

licorice and fresh tobacco leaves
ripe fruit (cherries, plums, melons)
dark chocolate combined with deep woody notes
